However, since I had been staying up all night working, I felt generally weakened so I also tried it over the heart area, but after a few minutes I noticed some chest pain so I stopped. I took a walk to the pharmacy and found my pulse was up to 108, although it later dropped to 91 and then 73. I read on another website that, overall, PEMF devices are able to cure a multitude of heart problems, however, in an experiment with an EMF device, one woman developed paroxysmal tachycardia. Question: Dear Dr. Gordon, We have corresponded regarding my purchase of the device and my daughter's condition and surgery. I just wanted you and others to know how effective/important I feel your device has been in her recovery. We used it many times a day following her ACL replacement surgery. It reduced her pain level so that in less than two days she did not need the pain meds any longer. The swelling was VERY minimal, I attribute this directly to the use of the EM Probe along with body brushing and massage. At approx. 11 weeks out she is so far ahead of recovery schedule they are having to find ways to hold her back! Question: Dear Dr. Gordon, The em probe has been some of the best money I've ever spent, and I've told a number of friends about it, who have had similarly successful results overcoming chronic pain. Particularly, it has virtually cured my Plantar Fascitis (sp?). Now I can walk freely and without limits along the streets of Manhattan, which has always been a fail-safe to clearing my thoughts and reviving my spirit. But I have one dogging ailment, for which I originally sought the probe: my tennis elbow. (I am not a tennis player, but received the injury through repetitive stress, namely a hobby that brought me great pleasure, but since needed to give up.) Before the probe, I went through all the usual treatments (including one cortizone shot). Over my three years with this ailment (I am 55), I have been "healed" two times: once through acupuncture, and once through electromagnitism (a large device owned by my friend, an MD, who was nearly railroaded out of the profession for using it on his patients. (Like you, he had one thing on his mind, healing others.) I suspect that his device was a powerful one, because it virtually put me back in business in eight 45-minute sessions. He's since retired and moved to the UK, bringing the device with him. Yet, rather than to be too longwinded, I have a few questions: 1. Why is my TE so resistant to the probe? (I continue to apply it anyway, and am wearing it right now.) 2. If scar tissue or another malady has been created through my series of cure/reinjury, cure/reinjury, cure/reinjury, must I simply resign myself to a lifetime of pain ? 3. Question: My 13 year old son suffered a serious ski accident last winter and broke his femur in one leg and his tib fib in the other. After 6 months of healing he had his plate and screws taken out of his femur. He followed the doctors instructions for the summer (9 weeks) to take it easy and no running or piviting. After getting the okay from his doctor to start running he re-fractured his femur the next day where the bottom screw holes were (not on the original fracture). He was only walking on a hill after a big day of activites. We are 2 weeks in after another surgery to set the femur with new plates. Question: I am a 57 year old male in very good physical shape, but under a lot of stress. I excercise regularly, practise yoga, and watch my diet. Recent xrays show the start of disc compression degeneration with accompanying "spurs" in the shoulder area vertebrae. In the past two months I have had to back off excercising due to chronic pain from seriously knotted muscles in my back and shoulder. I am using chiropractic with deep tissue massage and myotherapy, and heat treatment which are providing incremental help. Sleep deprivation is pushing me to my limits. I assume EMpulse will help with tight muscles. I am a believer in prevention and that all things are possible.
